These new cassettes are based on a design with one triplet and 8 single sprockets with aluminum spacers and will be compatible with the rest of the range (aside from the 11-29 and 11-32, for Medium Cage Rear Derailleurs).

The 11-32 cassette signals the introduction of not only a new, lower gearing cassette, but also a new range of cassettes which are labelled Campagnolo 11 and are available in the following combinations: 11-25, 11-27, 11-29, 12,27 and 11-32 for Campagnolo 9,10 & 11 Hub Bodies.

Campy Quality Shines on the Climbs

Posted by Rick on 2nd Jan 2017

After a last year when my work load tripled , my total miles ridden plunged by a thousand miles and my then 68 year-old heart developed atrial flutter, requiring a cardioversion, I recognized my days of attacking climbs out of the saddle, pushing both a larger gear and mid-range RPMs were over unless I wanted to be back in the cardiologist's office with a more complicated and risky atrial flutter remedy in front of me. Having ridden Campy equipment exclusively since I first began racing in 1972, I was immediately attracted this past year to acquiring a 32-tooth rear cog to achieve a nearly 1-1 ratio with my Campy 11-speed compact cranks. This cassette fills the bill perfectly. I am no weight-weeny so it does not bother me in the least to not have titanium cogs. I suspect I will be able to ride this cassette for the remainder of my cycling career. I like the reassurance that I can comfortably tackle any climb now without putting myself in physical risk, but that I still can jam the short climbs to my heart's good health and to its delight as well?
